Jav,

You may have the wrong driver. TripLite posted a bad drive labeled for OS X 10.6 that 
had some issues.  I will mail you one that worked for me with 10.6.  I removed the
Keyspan USA-28X before i updated to 10.7 because a Serial to USB adapter is not needed
with the Kenwood TS-590S.

Try the driver and see if it helps

Ps:  The Keyspan driver installer does not have an uninstall option. Can someone tell me 
where the driver is installed so I can remove it.
