Forgot one thing--

The Drobo FS does NOT work with Lion for Time Machine. Apple tightened up the rules for the AFP connection protocol, and Drobo FS does not comply. 

Further, I'm not able to install the recommended version of Drobo Dashboard. Their installer dies. If I could get that to work, then I could at least mount the remote Drobo FS volumes (the non-TimeMachine ones).

If you depend on your Drobo, do not upgrade to Lion yet.
