[Ham-Mac] Mac Migration

Thanks to all for help with this problem.  I called Apple and it turns out that ethernet migration is not supported for tiger to the new leopard.  I had to buy a new firewire...since my current is firewire 400 on both ends...I needed firewire 800 for the new iMac.  

It would have been nice had there been a hint of this problem in the documentation available immediately on start up of the new iMac.

It took about 3 hrs to migrate to the new iMac on the firewire 400 to 800 cable.  
However, after all this time, my photos and my music did not transfer... interesting.  I will do these manually.

An odd process to be sure...more like what I was used to with (gag) Microsoft.
