Geoff KB8UUM,
I use a Keyspan USA-28X from a Kenwood to an iMac and in turn to
fldigi using the RigCAT option. I think the USA-19X and 28X are
about the same and should the same driver. There was a problem when
Keyspan was sold to TripLite (or whoever) with device driver names
for OS X 10.6. There are OS X driver that say they are for 10.6
but do not work with Snow Leopard. I wonder what version driver you
are using. I will try to send you a direct copy of this reply
with a driver attached that works with 10.6.
The other issue could be the fldigi has two options in RigCAT
for Ports 1 and 2. Be sure you have the correct option selected
in the Device popup it the RigCAT configuration pane.
I noticed the IC-7000 is a beta version under the fldigi Rig
selector. You may want to post to the fldigi reflector to
see if someone has tested the IC-7000 option. The fldigi
reflector is <linuxham at yahoogroups.com>
I have copied Ed W3NR who is not a Mac user but has been down
the RigControl situation many times and he may be able to offer
some advice on the IC-7000.
Good Luck

I am new to the group as well as a new Mac owner. Maybe someone out
there can help me with my problem. I am trying to get Rigcat within
FLdigi to connect to my radio and haven't had any luck. The USB-serial
adaptor I am using is a Keyspan USA-19HS and I have installed the
latest drivers for OS 10.6. It appears that the computer recognizes
the adaptor, but no luck with Rigcat. I have used the same settings on
my Windows computer. Has anyone else had similar problems? Looking
forward to hearing from you and using my Mac for radio.
