I would like to throw in my 2 cents, if I may, regarding the Macbook vs
Netbook thread.
After a week of trying several PC laptops and desktops I realized that my
aging Macbook is the only computer that I own that has no interference
whatsoever on my HF radios. It becomes a bit noisy when I plug in a
USB-RS232 adapter but other than that, its dead quiet.
I don't now how relevant that might be to the original poster but to me, it
speaks volumes about quality of construction. And sincet Fldigi has matured
into a really great digital comms package, there's very little to complain
about lack of digital comms software for the Mac.
