[Ham-Mac] VirtualBox and USB-to-Serial adapter-resolved

Since the iMac wouldn't 'release' the Keyspan adapter, even after trying a few new tricks,
I bought a different USB>Serial device. It is a BT-DB925:

I installed the driver in my Windoze VirtualBox, but not on the iMac.
The adapter shows in System Profiler as a Prolific 2303 chipset,
but the iMac does *not* grab onto it.

The bottom line is that the new adapter works fine on the Windoze side, to control
the Uniden scanner thru the Freescan app.
