It does support fat binaries, however, so Universal apps will work 
just fine.  After the forced march to PowerPC, several of us who know 
Apple’s history of processor migration were surprised Snow Leopard 
didn’t already kill off Rosetta.

I guess those G3s, G4s, and even G5s are destined to be museum 
pieces, if they’ve been kept in good shape!
