Hi all,
I lusted after the original Icom R-1 years and years ago but decided though I wanted it, I didn't need it at that price. But, this weekend, I made an impulse purchase at a silent-key sale of an R-10 since it was for a good cause. Usually I research this kind of thing to death, but figured I'd find the software & cable interface online.
By Googling, I haven't come up with anything that I'm confident about. I did sign up with an R-10 Yahoo Group and am awaiting approval.
In the meantime, thought I'd check with my fellow Mac community.
What programs do you like to use? I would prefer one with a GUI capability so even Windoze would be ok if that's what it takes (I'd rather be out in the garden at this time of year than behind a terminal window ;-)
Is this cable that I found on eBay ok?
Programming CABLE for ICOM IC-706 IC-7000 IC-R10 CT-17 - eBay

I liked the idea that the 'interface stuff' was part of the cable instead of an inline box.
Thanks a bunch!
Kerin
