[Ham-Mac] Noise Problem - PSK-31

Hi Fellow Mac Ham Users:

I have an iMac and when using FL-Digi or Cocoa modem, when I start a PSK transmission, I get
a noise spike. You can see what it looks like at

It happens even with no radio connected and no other peripherals even turned on. So it
seems to be very in the Mac. Running 10.6.2  

Can you see it on your Mac? 

How to cure it?
