I don't think you have a SignalLink it seems like you were asking for a comparison of what you have vs. what you are looking at.

It depends on the radio you are using but with my K3 I don't use an interface!

Just run the audio cables from the radio to the computer, load cocoaModem or Fldigi set the levels and enjoy!
