I don't have a Mighty Mouse in the shack, but I had similar issues  
with my Logitech trackball and different software. I solved it by  
wrapping the USB cable from the trackball three or four times around a  
toroid core (I can't tell you now what particular core it was; it was  
a round one that was just large enough to pass the USB connector  
through the center opening). Since then I have had no further RFI  
problems.

If this *is* an RFI problem with the mouse, it's simple enough to try  
this method and see if there is any difference.
