[Ham-Mac] Logging Programs

I agree with Wolf's VMware Fusion comment but has anyone cracked  
getting it to talk to a serial port via usb (Keyspan USA28X B)? There  
are some apps from The Other Side which I would like to use with my  
FT-847.
I use the excellent MacLoggerDX but am sticking with v4.3.6 which  
allows editing of the Memories list - one of the most useful features  
for me. The scan feature is of little interest to me (though seems to  
be for others).
