A Mac OS X installer for Gutenprint 5.2.3 is now available.  This
release is a Universal Binary and contains all the enhancements and
support for additional printers detailed in the Gutenprint 5.2.3
announcement.

The Mac OS X installer changed slightly beginning with Gutenprint
5.2.2.  Users wishing to downgrade to an earlier version of Gutenprint
will now need to run the supplied uninstaller first.  Testing has shown
that some versions the Mac OS X Installer application do not handle
downgrades properly. The end result was that the end user's installation
of Gutenprint could become non-functional.

As a reminder, the URL for the home page for Gutenprint for Mac OS X
has recently changed.  The new URL is
