Due a terminal command line error, I deleted the .fldigi folder
that contained my logs, macros and all kinds of good stuff.
My first recovery attempt was to open the Time Machine and
use the Restore button on the .fldigi folder from one of the
recent backups.
Good plan but I could not figure out how to view the invisible
files or folders in the Time Machine backups. If you can't
see things like the .fldigi folder, you can't use the TM Restore
button.
Thanks to having a good SuperDuper backup and the Main
Menu utility, I was able to recovery the invisible .fldigi folder
and everything is working great.
For the next time I screw-up, is there a way to view and
Restore hidden files from a Time Machine backup?
