[Ham-Mac] has anyone tried... Mac/Doze file transfers?

I do it all the time. You can export the files on the PC using SMB and
then mount the network drive on the Mac. You can also do it the other
way, have the Mac export a directory via SMB (I use the Sharepoint
freeware to make this easy) and then mount it on the PC. This all
presumes both the Mac and PC are connected to ethernet. Exporting from
the Mac is actually more secure because once you start exporting file
systems from the PC you have to open it up to much - not so on the Mac.
I use a serial to USB adapter on the Mac and can access it from the
Mac and a Fusion PC on the Mac without any problems. There are
numerous serial to usb adapters for the Mac/PC that work great. I
personally use the Keyspan USB Twin Serial adpater and it is great. I
also have a Logitech USB "soundcard" that works really well on the Mac
and from within Fusion (I run XP). There are also TNCs that have USB
interfaces that work with the Mac and from within Fusion.
