Hi Steve,
Thanks for piping in.. :)
Not that I really need to, but I'd like to go on the record and say that
there is absolutely nothing wrong with MacLoggerDX or Dogparksoftware
here.. I'm not blaming Don.
I simply found that in my environment, the product at that time didn't
live up to what I felt it needed to. I tend to be the kind of person
that updates everything as quickly as I can (OS, Apps, Radios ;) ) So,
somewhere in my computer's config there was something that didn't agree
with MLDX.. That coupled with my needs led me to not use the
application. (As much as I would LOVE to be able to use it.. Don writes
great tools (I have used most)...)
I don't want anyone on this list (especially Don) to think that I would
say anything negative about him or his software... Should anyone be
looking for the kinds of features he provides, I will always recommend
MLDX..
My intent was to find a tool that will suit my needs, be stable enough
to guarantee data protection, and be easy enough to use in a contest w/o
having to look anything up in a manual. I need to think about my QSO and
not the logging software..
Thanks to all that sent me emails recommending those apps. I'm
definitely going to try them out.
