[Ham-Mac] Fldigi help

I am using the mac version of Fldigi and in most respects I am very pleased
with its performance on my Intel MacMini.  However there is one irritation
that I can find no help for.

In psk31 when I click on the waterfall exactly onto a trace, 90% of the time
the software will think I have clicked to one side of it, and even sometimes
settle on another signal altogether.  There just seems no logic to it.  It
can take many attempts for the software to lock onto the desired trace and
signal strength seems to have little to do with it.

I have looked at yahoogroups for a suitable forum and joined NBEMS but it
seems to me from posts I am reading there that they have a purely emergency
comms agenda.  Hence I'm asking the question here.

I'd be grateful for any help.
