[Ham-Mac] new iMac: parallels vs. fusion?

Worth checking the temperature of the power unit on the 24" iMac (and  
possibly others) particularly when running processor-intensive apps  
like cocoamodem. Mine emitted smoke after 13 months and needed a new  
power supply. Thank goodness for 3-year Applecare!
Temperature Monitor is a useful free utility and was showing >70C the  
week before death,
I run Fusion 301 for Linux and xP things with Kaspersky AV (free from  
my bank) when Windows is flying.
