Dick and others be aware that yet another update by Keyspan appears, for me at least, to be broken.
I have just emailed Tripp-Lite:
Recently I upgraded to Macintosh OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and at that time I also downloaded the latest driver for the Keyspan from your websitehttp://www.tripplite.com/en/products/model.cfm?txtModelID=3914
Everything worked fine.
However I noticed that recently you have again updated the Snow Leopard drivers so I downloaded and installed that, unfortunately the driver no longer works with my system. I reverted back to the previous version which I had in my archives and everything is back to normal.
I have tried completely in-installing the Keyspan drivers and just installing your latest, but I get the same problem. Keyspan Serial Assistant sees no Keyspan devices with the very latest drivers.
The driver that does work was:
http://www.tripplite.com/shared/software/Driver/Mac-OS-10-6-v26b-driver.zip
The latest problematic installer:
http://www.tripplite.com/shared/software/Driver/Mac-OS-10-6-v26b2-driver.zip
Just hope that this may alert you to a problem that other customers may see.
