I'm happy to announce that Aether 1.1 is now available. Aether can be
downloaded at http://www.aetherlog.com/ . New features in this
release include:

* Addition of "Print Address/QSL Labels" feature, including support
for many different Avery label sheet types.
* Support for use of a QRZ paid subscription for callbook data. This
provides increased speed, reliability and data quality for callbook
lookups.
* Automatic calculation of beam heading and distance to contacted
stations.
* Support for export of CSV files for import into spreadsheet software.
* Many smaller new features, user interface improvements, and bug fixes.

For complete release notes see http://www.aetherlog.com/1_1_0_86.html .

Aether is a ham radio logging application for Mac OS X. Aether
includes tools to quickly and easily log QSOs while on the air, as
well as organize, search and track your QSOs later. Aether was
designed for Mac OS X, and has the same kind of clean, intuitive,
friendly interface you've come to expect on the Mac. Some of the
useful features that Aether provides include:

* Instant Search
* ADIF, Cabrillo export/import
* Serial Rig Control
* Automatic callbook lookup including optional support for QRZ.com
subscriptions
* Automatic dupe checking
* Powerful address and QSL info label printing
* Google Maps integration
* Automatic distance and beam heading calculation
* cocoaModem 2.0 integration
* Spotlight, Mail, Address Book and AppleScript support
* Much more

The free version of Aether is fully featured except for a 30 QSO limit
for logs. The full version of Aether, priced at $39, removes this
limit.

Thanks and 73,
Andrew Madsen AC7CF
