Hi Dan,

Yep.  I saw the same thing on a Mighty Mouse.  I don't have a  
particularly hot shack, but the mouse seemed quite susceptible and  
behaved just as you describe.  I just went back to a Logitech mouse  
and have no trouble.

You could try the Geniuses, but they tend not to be able to deal with  
design problems.  I don't really know who you could write to at Apple,  
but I think you (we) have a real gripe.  I look around and see if I  
can find a contact.
