[Ham-Mac] OT -- Problems with Safari 3?

I am responsible for about 60 Macs at the university in Hannover/ 
Germany. I can not confirm the problems with Safari 3. It is the  
fastest Safari we ever had, much faster than Firefox on most sites,  
especially on Intel Macs.
But you have to be very careful with additions, application  
enhancers, plugins and input managers you may have forgotten that  
they existed on your system. Many of the older versions which have  
been working for years fail with Safari 3 and cause all kind of  
problems. It is a good idea to check your Library folder and update  
these little helpers to the latest version or remove them at all. The  
result will be a fast and reliable Safari.
