[Ham-Mac] A bit off topic but ...

Hi John,

	The Apple Store does classes that are geared toward "regular" users  
and teach reasonably basic things aimed at helping people use their  
Macs.  Apple does have professional certifications which you can learn  
about here: http://training.apple.com/certification/ .  I think  
they're somewhat expensive, and perhaps only worth it if you plan to  
get a job for which the knowledge they provide would be useful.   
Authorized Apple repair shops require the Certified Macintosh  
Technician certification for their employees for example.  There are  
also certifications for network administration, pro apps (Final Cut  
Studio, Logic Studio), etc.  At least around here, the only place I  
know of to actually take the required tests is the local university.   
They also offer classes for them but you can buy the books and study  
on your own too I think.
