I have been running Parallels since it's early days and am happy with  
it.

However, in looking at some of the features I think if I were to start  
over I might go with VMWare.

BTW, either way you can set up your Boot Camp partition. Use it with a  
re-boot if you need the extra speed and also use the same partition as  
the VM in VMWare or Parallels.  That is how I do it and therefore only  
have to maintain one install of Windows.
