[Ham-Mac] Parallels

Chris, thanks. I had a feeling that might be the problem. However, I'm not
sure how to disable it on the Mac side.

I use serial/USB adapters with Win2K and Parallels all the time. Make 
sure you disable the driver on the Mac side (unload it).
