RRR Dick,

They are $14.99 at Radio Shack, but I didn't have to
make a special trip anywhere.

I have the DigiKeyer turned on and hooked up, controlling
the radio etc.  No smoke!  It looks like the charred component
was supposed to be an electrolytic capacitor.  Think it was
just installed backwards?

Everything seems normal here for a change.

(Sorry about duplication, but the clock was set to 1961
which is the defined Apple beginning of the universe and
I didn't think anything went out.)
