Sometimes, these are available at online auction sites.

Yes, the box had an original price of $149 on it.  I would
not pay that much, personally.

I think the -49W is the older of a couple similar models,
like -49WLC.

BTW, it stayed connected to the radio all night and is still
working.  I didn't get any early morning DX this morning
as I developed an awful headache yesterday and slept
a little late this morning.  Thankfully, I feel better, so far.
