Anyone know if the Keyspan USA-28X uses the FTDI (?) chipset?
I used the Keyspan USA-28X for years to interface the old PK-232 that is now
history. I am thinking about using it under OSX (rather than Classic) to
interface my Kenwood TS-570S(G). I hear from the Kenwood users group you
need straight through cable with DB-9 on one end and I will need old style
Mac 8-Pin to fit the USA-28X.
Anyone know who sells such a cable? I may have to find two cables and
solder splice them together. If there is a way to screw that up, I will.
