[Ham-Mac] running EchoLink on iMac Core 2 Duo

I think the line-in on most Macs is not amplified, so just plugging a  
mic into it won't work. You need a pre-amp like the Griffin iMic,  
which can be had pretty cheap at Radio Shack.
