[Ham-Mac] RF from XM radio

I was considering installing a XM radio device in my car, as well as in
my home radio unit. However, after reading online some of the hook-up
and prelim precautions, I have given it second consideration due to the
RF emission. Here you are sitting there for a few hours a day with the
RF flying all around you. We take extra precautions to keep our rigs
clear, and now throw it to the wind regarding, albeit, a small dose of
the same.

Could anyone with any experience with this kind of situation give me a
heads-up as to just how much RF is given off in the transfer process to
your regular radio and the surrounding area.

I realize that this is slightly out-of-content with the aim of this
forum but I felt that perhaps others might be going through the same
situation and therefore could be assisted by my question.

I might add that I don't use a cell 'phone, simply for the same reason
that right up against your brain, you are radiating yourself with
approx. 1/2 w. of RF.

Thank You,

Bob
