Hi All,

I have been looking for remote rig control software for my kenwood
TS-2000X and MAC OSX.

I have been playing with Ham Radio Deluxe on the PC (Yuck) and the
remote
rig control is very slick indeed. I will be heading out to LA next
week for the week and would love
to plug a headset into the powerbook and chat on topband back home in
NY :)

The only thing I found that look to do the right thing is something
called DX Connect Extreme and the site is here :
http://www.kc4ffd.com/software/

"Project in Alpha"

But the link to dxconnect.com does not load. I have sent mail to the
author and have not heard anything back yet.
If anyone has the .dmg that would be great.

So at the moment it looks like I will hook the TS2K up to a old
crusty windoze laptop and connect using Ham Radio Deluxe and use
Skype for the 2way audio.
I would also use M$ remote desktop client for the mac and open port
3389 to the laptop back home. It would be way cool to do this on the
mac but I'm not sure
we are there yet.

If anyone has done something similar or has some suggestions I am all
ears.

Best 73 GL DX
