Gud suggestions, Chris. I'll follow thru. My transmitter/receiver are
on my desk and the solid-state amp (Icom PW-1). on the floor behind
the desk and all of this within 2-3 ft. of all my hifi stuff. So far
I haven't operated the station on the air enough to really test and
evaluate the potential RFI problem. I've only been on 40 M. for a
short time, since the station was brought upstairs from my formerly
normal shack downstairs - so now I don't have to walk up/down stairs
to get on the air. I have a bunch or ferrites of various configs.
but haven't had to use 'em so far. When I get on 10/15/20 especially
- it'll put the system to the test. Hope it is within the limits I
can control!
