[Ham-Mac] Puzzling error on my G5

Hi Jeff,

I have TRIED to do that in the past, because I have 3 Macs in the house
and it would save a CONSIDERABLE amount of time in performing updates,
but my Mac for goofballs book either is incorrect in detailing the
process OR it's user input error.

Would you mind detailing the process to me in a reply to this email so I
can give it a try?

Thanks for your input Jeff!

Try downloading the update package to your hard drive and then try to
install. I have had problems installing updates directly from the
internet. This
works for me.
