Hi Dick,

Send report to Apple so they can correct the behaviour.

1) Go to the page that has the problem.

2) Under Safari menu select "Report bugs to Apple..."

3) Select the more options to include automatically screenshot and  
HTML source of page for you.

But note I don't see the difference you claim? Safari 2.0.4 (419.3)  
on Mac OS X 10.4.8.
