Dick,
My main (and virtually only) program that I use both for PSK and
Hell is CocaModem. I am messing with WinPSK and VPC as I just wanted
to see if I could get it all working on the Mac. I found that when I
pushed "reset" on VPC everything seemed to work right for the first
time, I had removed it from the Mac but decided to put it back. I
also have N4PY's control program for the PRO III, which I can run
from my Toshiba PC laptop and want to see if I can run it from the
Mac and VPC.
So I am mostly just fooling around here. When I get the CI-V cable
hooked up I can run CocaModem and MacLoggerDX at the same time like I
did with the Orion when I had it.
I think that I will sell the laptop one of these days. I got it
after I messed up trying to flash update the Orion from VPC.
Actually I only updated it once - big investment for not much result.
TT even had me buy Windows XP PRO when I was trying to update with
VPC.
I am wondering why I can see the signal on the waterfall with WinPSK
but it won't seem to decode it, when running it on VPC. It does on
the Toshiba.
Take care,
