Dick N5XRD,

QSL your setup. Dick if you have an iMic laying around gathering dust, try
using it between your G5 and the SL-1+. As noted in earlier message I use
the iMic for transmit via a USB port on my G4 to free up the audio line-in
plug on the computer. On my G4 when anything is plugged in the line-in
plug, it mutes the internal (system beeps etc.) speaker. Using the iMic in
the transmit path allowed me to retain the standard Mac sounds.

Okay on using the Keyspan USB-28X Adapter USB to interface MacLogger. I
have a USB-28X; however, it is dedicated to my old PK-232 and MacRATT 2.1
that only runs in Classic mode. It is a PITA to reinstall the Keyspan
driver every time I change from Classic back to OSX so I just leave it in
place for Classic use only. If I get the new Intel 20-inch iMac, I will
have to rethink everything as it will not run OS9 applications.

Good luck with the new Icom 756 Pro III. Very nice rig!
