[Ham-Mac] Problem solved

Mark,

Glad you got it working.

Most of what he did makes sense to my non-professional eye but I have  
a couple of questions.

You say:  " I am using OSX 10.4.5, and with the firewall on, but  
allowing EchoMac packets."

And then you say:" Finally, he entered EchoMac and checked it as an  
exception in the OSX firewall."

That sounds like one in the same...

I wonder if he feels the DNS server address had anything to do with  
the problem and/or why?

Sounds like setting up the "virtal (sic) Server is a requirement on  
of your router.  Seemed like it was much more straight forward on my  
Linksys.  But, no matter, since he had the expertise to get it  
working for you.

I bring up these questions because I am thinking about the next ham  
that comes along with your brand of router and wondering if all the  
steps he took will be necessary for him.

I'll fire up Echomac later on, maybe we will run in to each other.
