[Ham-Mac] How to Screw up your HD

The unix-ish approach was not an option.  I could not get to the terminal to
start a session.  All I had was an endless spinning disc with no way to
escape other then the restart button on the face of the G4.

I need to put a sticker on the display saying Hold down Option key to boot
from backup drive.... good tip from Rich Prather.
