Hi Scott,

Looks like they have a Mac OS X driver but it's not being  
recognized.  Similar problem with IOGear and ATEN usb to serial  
driver on PPC (Intel Macs seem to now have an Open Source driver per  
previous lists messages).  The link below describes how to get  
Prolific Technology's PL-2303H/X/HX chipset to be recognized perhaps  
it will help lead you to a solution with SILABs 2102 chipset??  That  
is the drivers plist may just needed to be changed to reflect a  
changes in ProductID and VendorID.  Not sure if this is will help but  
it is an avenue to consider.
