A bit of the subject, BUT did anyone else catch or hear the ARRL/QST public
radio blurb on WOAI AM radio yesterday [ Sunday ] is was about a 30 second
spot for HAM AMATEUR radio and well done , the general gist being try ham
radio , something for almost all taste , DX 2M contesting .. I was shocked
to hear the Ad .. and esp. on WOAI .. but is was a clear promotion by the
ARRL to gain interest in amateur radio services .. mac/mc w5mc
