Dick,
I don't understand why you are having trouble with the 756 and the SL-1+
unless you failed to properly install the SL-1 jumper wires. The Icom uses
a different configuration than you had on the old rig.
As a test bypass the SL-1+ by using a jumper from the Icom's Ext speaker to
the audio line-in on the iMac. Double check the OSX System Preferences
Sound to see that you have the correct input selected.
Are you sure the cocoaModem PSK receiver is active? By default it is
inactive and you have to Config menu and change the Status from inactive to
active. If it is inactive.....you will not be able to receive anything.
The above are some quick guesses at what may be wrong. The iMac should work
FB with your 756 and SL-1.
