Hi Peter,
There are several rig interfaces out there that make connecting your
radio to your Mac fairly painless, RigBlaster and MicroHam come to
mind. They usually include all necessary cabling.
As far as software is concerned, I'll give my program MultiMode a
shameless plug ;-) It does PSK31, SSTV, RTTY, CW, etc.
