This is not really ham radio related but if someone on the list has an older
Mac and would like to use one or more of the new lower cost SATA hard drives
this may be of interest.

SIIG PCI-to-Serial ATA Adapter Card for Mac $40

My surplus is your gain. I no longer need the SIIG High-speed dual-channel
PCI-to-Serial ATA host adapter that lets my Macintosh G4-AGP use a lower
cost SATA hard drive. The card supports two extra hard drives but I have
only used one. Last year I tried four PCI cards until I found the SIIG card
that really works in a Macintosh computer under OSX. I will provide the box,
the card and connecting cable. I prefer to sell local so I can show you it
works.

The SIIG Serial ATA PCI-M Card card is described at
