This group recommended SuperDuper to me a while back (for my G5,
10.3.9) and it's been, well, Super.
When you do a restore from the backup, the Mac's internal HD will
lose a few settings, like where Eudora should put attachments, and
ask about opening docs in an app for the "first" time.
I use mine to keep my 2 iMacs (at my main home and at my vacation
home) equal. I backup to a LaCie Firewire drive, carry it to the
"other" machine, restore from the LaCie to the"other" machine, and
then reverse the process for the round trip. That gives me 2 backups.
Plus, you can't beat the price.
