[Ham-Mac] I win the 2006 award for stupidity

My extra ticket can't save me from this one. The offending device 
that caused all my "sleep" problems is an external ZIP drive. Yep. 
The "scanner" that I've been "plugging in and unplugging" all this 
while was quietly plugged into the Mac all along. I had forgotten 
that I even HAD a ZIP drive! I suppose there's some conflict between 
the drive and the hub, because with the ZIP out, there's no problem
