[Ham-Mac] Puzzling error on my G5

Hi Steve,

I'll give this a shot when I get home from work.

Do you know what causes this error? My G5 isn't used very much, at
least not until I decide to install Echomac on it.

If it is a permissions problem, how could they get so out of whack on a
machine that's only turned on once or twice a week for about 30 minutes
at a time?

Hi Rob,

This is the procedure I ALWAYs run before a major update. Eg. 10.4.6 to
10.4.7. But perhaps it will help you with this smaller security update.

Boot with your Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) install DVD.

Run Disk utility.

Select Repair drive. (Fix any issue it reports)

Then select Repair permissions. (Fix any issue it reports)

Reboot from Internal hard drive.

Could also be an error at the server side.
