Hello Dick,
I have tried all the very obvious things to do with date and time settings.
The problem is that in the past, with operating systems 7.6 etc, this
little alarm clock program was a facility on the Menu, and then Apple
took it off the Menu, but left the soft ware, and so, every now and again,
the Apple logo alternately flashes as a small clock.....harmless, but
very annoying...I use the PowerBook as a dedicated log, and nothing else,
so, I have no idea why this has manifested itself again....thanks for the
comments, sincerely, John. G3JVC.
