The Keyspan USB to Serial adaptors are the best on the market. Something
tells me you do not have the latest drivers. I had some trouble with mine
until I figured out they have OS9 and OSX drivers and you can't run both.
If you use OSX, that is the one you need to install.
I don't know why you are even screwing around with Keyspan if you don't mind
running VOX. Run a jumper from you rig's external speaker to the line-in
port on your Mac and you will be in business to at least copy some of the
digital modes. Hold your Mic up to the Mac's internal speaker and you can
transmit.
Like I said before it is a lot easier to just buy and use a SignaLink SL-1+
with the Auto-PT and not have to mess with the other stuff.
