Hi Trygve,
I have a Mac G5 and have used it with both an Icom 756ProII and an
Ten Tec Orion. I mostly operate PSK. I use a Keyspan serial to USB
connector and I also use a SignaLink SL-1+, which works with an audio
signal. I have a RigBlaster but haven't tried using it with the Mac.
I'm not sure that you can. The digital software I use is CocaModem
by KokChen. http://homepage.mac.com/chen. It is the best digital
software I have used. His e-mail address is:
Kok Chen <chen at mac.com>
I have had no trouble with the SignLink and like it better than when
I used RigBlaster with my old PC. BTW my wife's parents both came
from Sweden and my family, long ago, is probably from Norway. My
wife's first language was Swedish and she is fluent in it. I am
pretty terrible. We had a wonderful trip to both countries back in
1968.
Take care,
Dick, N5XRD
