I use a mac as my main computer, but have a couple of Linux boxes for  
the shack.  TLF works pretty well for me as a text-mode contest  
logging program (in Linux at least , although it probably would  
compile on OS X, as well--the next version will be written in Perl,  
which should be even easier to port).  I use it for general-purpose  
logging as well.  There are also Xlog and Klog (not contest-oriented,  
however).  I like gMFSK as a multimode soundcard program and it will  
dump logs into either Xlog or TLF.
